The Challenge:
A government agency coordinating projects across their enterprise required a project management solution that enabled real-time collaborative information sharing while providing strict security and user access controls. The program management software needed to be flexible, web-based and represent real-time project statuses.

Using Actano’s RPlan® collaborative project management suite, Template Software domain experts deployed a cross-functional planning process that leveraged the web-based, collaborative controls offered by RPlan. Currently managing thousands of project schedules, the agency has seen a significant increase in schedule accuracy and program efficiency based on the real-time information sharing provided by RPlan’s comprehensive and collaborative project control. Security features within RPlan enable administrators to control user access to restricted schedules, resources are tracked in real-time against assigned tasks, and milestone statuses are readily available to key stakeholders during leadership reviews.

Government Agency - Geospatial Information Management
The Challenge:
To establish a new technical baseline for the order entry and tracking and workflow management for geospatial intelligence production.
The Template Software Solution:
We developed a software system that addressed life-cycle sustainment, provided incremental improvements in capability, increased effectiveness in managing the flow of production material and activities, and reduced life-cycle cost for the suite of applications supporting geospatial information production activities. Production centers at five geographic locations used order entry, tracking, and workflow management applications to manage, direct, and control production of geospatial intelligence information.
